Pioneer participates in Special Olympics in Basketball, Bowling, Swimming, and Track and Field Events, at the local, district, and state levels. The mascot is “The Pioneer Tiger.” Competitions are held with other Special Olympics teams in southeast Ohio counties throughout the year.
